Teaming and Communication 

      One of the methods of communication that we experienced was student to student. Throughout the months that we spent working on our project, we interacted to complete our project. As a result of this, we were able to effectively research and complete the website. Another means of communication was between us, the students, and our teacher, Ms. Judd. Ms. Judd provided us with a lot of insight necessary for the completion of our project. The group and Marc Rogoff communicated mostly by email. Marc would respond to us in incredible time. He was always kind and answered our questions with the utmost expertise. Communication with Marc was absolutely vital.

Research and Innovation

      We learned that through working diligently and collaborating together, we were able to come up to a solution to a real world problem. Through our research, we learned about the complexities of various problems. Research helped us to realize that many problems facing the world today are intricate and multifaceted. We became also aware of the vastness of knowledge and information. By coming up with a solution to a problem, we discovered that solutions can be found to many of the world’s troubles. Even as high school students, we were able to come up with a solution by working together and being dedicated to fixing one of our world’s problems.

What We Learned

      We have always looked at the inventors as remote people who are too smart and innovative for us. However, having created and researched the technology by ourselves and now presenting our work to the world, we learned that the world is a white blank paper on which we can outline, draw, and color. We took on more confidence. 

      We heartily realized that initial step of planning and assigning the role to each member is very important for the progress and efficiency of the project. Also, we have to be on the same floor of knowledge of technology and progress of the project so that we can effectively communicate each other.

      Existence of technical advisor was essential to the progress of project. He/She has far more extensive knowledge and experience than we do. With their torchlight, we were led to the right course.
