Scholarships and Grants
Don Bosco Prep offers generous academic scholarships to incoming freshman students. To be eligible for an academic scholarship, a student must take the COOP Entrance Examination and choose Don Bosco Prep as one of his choices. All academic awards are renewable each year as long as the student is able to maintain an unweighted average of 93 in each class and an exemplary discipline record while at Don Bosco Prep. Any student who fails to adhere to these criteria may forfeit his scholarship for the remainder of his time at Don Bosco Prep.
Academic scholarships are awarded in the acceptance packets on January 17th, 2014.
Academic scholarship amounts are determined annually based on the fiscal budget and the number of eligible applicants.
Over the years, our alumni and benefactors have generously given back to their alma mater in an effort to provide financial support to students in need and ensure that future Ironmen benefit from the unique experiences The Prep has to offer. New scholarships are established annually as alumni and benefactors approach the school to offer their support. Scholarships are awarded based upon the criteria set forth by the donor at the time the scholarship is established. Students are automatically reviewed for these alumni scholarships based on biographical and financial information submitted during the registration process.
