Transfer Students
The transfer admissions process for the 2013-2014 academic year is OPEN.
Thank you for expressing an interest in applying to Don Bosco Prep as a transfer student. Although students typically enter Don Bosco Prep as incoming freshmen (9th graders), we reserve the right to consider prospective transfer students entering their sophomore (10th grade) or junior (11th grade) year. We do not accept applicants entering into their senior (12th grade) year.
In order to be considered for admission, transfer applicants must follow the step-by-step instructions below:
The DBP Transfer Application
All transfer applicants are required to fill out the DBP transfer application, which is available below.
Your School Transcripts
Transcripts should include all grades as well as standardized test results for the past three (3) years. If your current school requires a form to release your records, please download the "Transcript Release Form" below.
2 Letters of Recommendation
Transfer applicants must submit two (2) letters of recommendation along with the DBP transfer application. The recommendation may be written by a teacher, pastor, service coordinator, coach, or DBP alumnus. You may access a recommendation form below. We accept letters of recommendation also.
Schedule an Interview / Ironman for a Day
All transfer applicants must schedule an interview with the Director of Admissions as well as the Principal prior to being reviewed for admission. At least one parent or legal guardian is required to be present during the interview. Please note that only qualified applicants will be invited for an admissions interview.
Applications will be reviewed based on student population and available space in each class.
