January 27, 2012 - Alumni Return to Celebrate Feast of St. John Bosco
Alumni of both Don Bosco Tech and Don Bosco Prep returned to the Ramsey campus to celebrate the feast day of their schools' founder, St. John Bosco.
A Mass celebrated by Fr. James Marra, DBP Finance and Development Director and former Financial Adminsitrator of Don Bosco Tech, was the first event of the evening which brought together returning alumni from both institutions administered by the Salesian order of priests and brothers. In his homily, Fr. Marra said, "What binds us are not the physical places, but what binds us is the man, Don Bosco, and the teachers who taught and inspired us." Even though Don Bosco Tech in Paterson was closed in 2002, Fr. Marra promised its alumni, "Don Bosco Tech graduates will always have a home here in Ramsey."
Following the Mass, alumni and their family members came together in the cafeteria for a dinner, which was generously catered by the Brownstone Inn in Paterson.
