Eight Students Sign Letters of Intent for Fall Sports on National Signing Day
Don Bosco Prep held a special photo event on February 1, in honor of National Signing Day for eight students who signed letters of intent to play college sports in the fall
Cross Country Commitment:
Nicholas A. Carapezza, of Mahwah, NJ, has accepted a scholarship to from Fairfield University. In addition to running cross-country, Nick is a member of the National Honor Society, Italian Honor Society, and Students Against Drunk Driving (SADD).
Football Commitments are:
Elijah Y. Shumate, a running back/defensive back for the Don Bosco Prep Ironmen, has committed to attend the University of Notre Dame, South Bend, IN.
Leonte Q. Carroo, a wide receiver for the Ironmen has accepted a scholarship to attend Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, New Brunswick, NJ. In addition to football, Leontee has been involved as a School Ambassador, and is an active member of the track and basketball teams.
Darius L. Hamilton, a defensive end for the football Ironmen, has committed to attend Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, New Brunswick, NJ. Darius is a resident of Woodland Park, NJ.
Michael S. Strizak, a linebacker for the Ironmen, has accepted a scholarship to attend Boston College, Chestnut Hill, MA. Michael is a resident of Fair Lawn, NJ.
Michael A. Casimos, an offensive lineman/defensive lineman, has committed to attend the University of Akron, Akron, OH. Michael is a resident of Upper Saddle River, NJ.
Kyle V. Sakowski, a safety for the Ironmen, has accepted a scholarship to attend Lafayette College, Easton, PA. Kyle is a resident of Chester, NY.
Tyler M. Samra, an offensive lineman for the Ironmen, has committed to attend the University of Connecticut, Mansfield, CT. Tyler is a resident of Fair Lawn, NJ.
