Don Bosco Prep Inducts 52 Students into National English Honor Society
Fifty-two students were inducted into the Don Bosco Prep Alfred Lord Tennyson Chapter of the National English Honor Society on Tuesday evening, February 7, 2012.
The keynote address was given by English Teacher Michael McLean, a 2001 graduate of Don Bosco Prep. He encouraged the inductees to read avidly, write often, and to express themselves at college by submitting articles for publication. “Throw yourselves into your wildest dreams of the power of literature,” he urged them.
The National English Honor Society is a national organization for high school students and faculty who are recognized for their quality, honor, excellence, and accomplishments in the field of English.
