MetLife Stadium

Business Pathway students learn about the business of football with the New York Jets.
On November 14th, Business Pathway students attended High School Sports Business Day at Metlife Stadium. Metlife is the sports stadium that is home to the New York Jets and the New York Giants. Jets business personnel hosted an educational and fun day for high school students to go behind-the-scenes and learn about the business of sports on and off the field. Our students listened to presentations from Jets business executives in the fields of finance, marketing, sales, data analytics, and more. John Ehrline '10 is a Manager, Premium Partnerships at New York Jets and he gave a special presentation and tour to our students. In addition to touring the whole stadium, our students had the opportunity to sit in the locker room and actually throw a football around on the field! It was really interesting to learn about the different aspects of business that go into putting on a football game!

Thank you for taking the time to speak with us, Mr. Ehrline!
