Don Bosco Prep is proud to announce that Noah Lee ‘18 has been named a Scholar from the U.S. Presidential Scholars Program, Presidential Scholar in the Arts, one of the nation’s highest honors for high school students.
The U.S. Presidential Scholars Program recognizes and honors some of our nation's most distinguished graduating high school seniors. In 1979, the program was extended to the Arts, to recognize students who demonstrate exceptional talent in the visual, creative and performing arts. Criteria for the award also requires students to demonstrate academic achievement.
Noah was nominated by the National YoungArts Foundation, and had to audition, interview, and have a teacher recommendation, which was given by Mr. Gaetano Cecere, DBP’s Director of Concert Band & String Orchestra Guitar Ensemble.
“Noah has brought a standard of excellence and inspiration to other students here,” said Toni Bilotti Cecere, Director of Choral Activities, Chapel Concerts and Liturgical Music. “He is always willing to mentor and help other string players and willing to do anything asked of him.”
