At Don Bosco Prep, we strive to make a Salesian education affordable to as many families as we can. 100% of the money raised through our Annual Fund appeal goes to provide tuition assistance to families who need our help.
This academic year, the cost of educating a student at Don Bosco Prep rose to over $18,000, but tuition and fees were raised by only $100 to $16,585. Even if every family paid all of their tuition and fees, we would still need to raise money to cover the shortfall between the tuition dollars received and the cost of educating their boys. However, we have already committed more than $1.45 million to tuition assistance. Over 400 families are receiving financial aid, a year over year increase of over 33%. We expect more families to ask for help before our academic and fiscal year ends this June.
It is only with the help of our alumni, families, and friends that Don Bosco Prep can continue to not only provide the young with an excellent education, but also be a home, a place to develop their faith, and a playground.
