Ironmen Robotics Team: Veterans Adaptive Sports Event
Ironmen Robotics Team explores future career possibilities while giving back to the community at the Warrior Games.
On Saturday, April 28, several members of the Ironmen Robotics Team participated in the Athletes with Disabilities Network Northeast Council’s DOD Warrior Games Promotion Event at the County College of Morris at the invitation of our Picatinny STEM sponsor. This event had a number of objectives including 1) build community understanding of the significant role that Adaptive Sports plays in enabling the recover and return to productive lives and 2) expose students to potential career and study opportunities including: Rehabilitation, Therapy, and Adaptive Equipment Design and Engineering.
