Chorus Learns from Barbershop Quartet, DAILY SPECIAL

Daily Special, based in southern New England, has performed everywhere from schools, churches, and assisted living facilities to high-profile, professional concert venues. The members of Daily Special take pride in their goal of being model citizens of the a cappella world, sharing their music and leadership skills with their communities. Always striving for musical excellence, they have won numerous accolades including 4th place, 2019 International Barbershop Harmony Society (BHS) International Quartet Championship; 2nd place, 2018 BHS Northeastern District (NED) Championship; 2nd place, 2018 Boston Regional Harmony Sweepstakes a cappella competition; and 1 st place in the NED Patriot Division in 2018.

Daily Special worked with singers of the DBP Chorus and then the group sang with the quartet at a concert that evening. Thank you for a wonderful visit, Daily Special! 

The Don Bosco Prep Chorus is offered to all students. It is an academic class at Don Bosco Prep The choral program is designed to promote musical literacy and artistic development in those with an interest in singing. The curriculum includes sight-singing, the development of vocal and ensemble technique, and performance practice.
