CELERATING OUR FEAST

Don Bosco Prep celebrated the Feast of St. John Bosco as a school community last Friday. DBP alumnus, Bishop John J. O’Hara '63, Auxiliary Bishop of New York, concelebrated the mass with Bishop Vitaliy Krivitskiy, SDB, Salesian Bishop of Kiev, Ukraine as well as with the Salesian priests of DBP.

Bishop O'Hara blessed the students who will be attending the missionary trips in Nicaragua and Puerto Rico over winter break. Students were very excited to learn that they'd be getting not one, but two days off, in honor of the two Bishops' visit, and we added a 'Happy Birthday' song for Fr. John Blanco and a school-wide Bosco chant. Let's go Bosco!
