Mrs. Kozak's class learns about the integration of physics and engineering with Pixar Animation.
Pixar in a Box is a behind-the-scenes look at how Pixar artists do their jobs. Students in Mrs. Kozak's class will be participating in this program that is a collaboration between Pixar Animation Studios and Khan Academy and sponsored by Disney. They will be completing three different labs that involve the application of the physics of light and color, color correction, and rendering. Students will learn through engaging videos, exercises, and simulations. Mrs. Kozak's students will discover how the Engineering Pathway subject areas of physics, math, and engineering apply to the process of animation.
