The Ironman Improv troupe is back! Strengthening skills such as eye contact, working in agreement, listening, thinking quickly on your feet and creating characters, the Ironman Improvisers will build their shortform and longform improv skills as they prepare for ongoing troupe performances.

IRONMAN IMPROV FAQs
What is Improv? Improv involves thinking quickly on your feet to create comedic scenes with your troupe members.
What if I've never done Improv before? That's fine! You'll learn the ropes in rehearsal.
How often are rehearsals and shows? Rehearsals are Tuesdays 3:00pm-4:30pm and shows will be every other month.

No previous experience necessary! Just come ready to work with others and have a great time.
*COVID-19 health and safety policies will be enforced in accordance to Don Bosco Prep school policy*
The Ironman Improv troupe is a comedy troupe that rehearses and performs both shortform and longform improv comedy. As an Ironman Improviser, you will not only spend time laughing with your DBP troupe members, you will also strengthen skills such as eye contact, working in agreement, listening, thinking quickly on your feet, creating characters, etc.,
What will the audition entail? You will come in for a 15-min time slot during which you will play shortform improv games with some of the existing troupe members.
Rehearsals will be Tuesdays 3:00pm-4:30pm. Extra rehearsals may be added closer to show dates. There will be 3-5 shows through-out the school year. It is not mandatory to attend every single rehearsal and performance. Though attendance is flexible depending on after school conflicts, you will be expected to make a commitment if you are invited to join the Ironman Improv Troupe.
There will be a participation fee of $215 for the year. This payment will cover materials such as your Ironman Improv shirt and help to defray the cost of our various performances. With this payment you will also get a 10% discount off your mainstage production fees (Spring Musical).
If you have never done improv before, that's fine! Come in and give it a try. The Ironman Improv rehearsal room is a space filled with kindness, laughter, and creativity.
After you submit this registration form you will receive a confirmation email with more details including your audition time slot.
