NHS INDUCTION CEREMONY
Last week, 87 distinguished young men were inducted into the Saint Francis de Sales Chapter of the National Honor Society at Don Bosco Prep. These young men excel in the areas of scholarship, service, leadership, and character. During the ceremony, each officer lit a candle to represent these four pillars of the National Honor Society.
As chapter president, Michael G. Higgins, reminded us, “Induction into the National Honor Society is not an end of your work, but rather a beginning. Every student here has the talent and the opportunity to make large, impactful contributions to the world and leave a lasting legacy that will carry on for many generations of future Ironmen.”
We congratulate you all and cannot wait to see what you will accomplish in the future! As NHS Faculty Moderator, Mr. Zawiski, said, “We ask you to view this induction as an invitation to continue to grow and to strive for excellence.”
