HOCKEY TEAM TAKES OVER DBP POND!

What a great day for pond hockey at Don Bosco Prep, as our hockey team took to the ice on our campus!

It was a clear, sunny, crisp day as the team held an informal practice for the boys that was just about team bonding and brotherhood as it was about game preparation.

"This is really exciting for us to get to skate on our campus pond and prepare for our run to the state championship," said Connor Sedlak '21, one of the team's captains. "The pandemic has made it tough to get together as a group and this helps the guys bond and form the brotherhood that is so special at Bosco."

Toskos remembers skating on the back in the early '90's. "We're fortunate enough to have this great pond and really excited to have the boys out here," he said. "“Because we haven’t been able to have team dinners or get togethers, these skates on campus will help with our team bonding. And what a great way to do it on our campus, on our pond.”

Greg Toskos '94, head coach, addressed the team during practice. "This is who we are. This is our campus," he said.
