DBP IN D.C.

Craig Dietel '13 Associate Director of Public Relations and Alumni
Thanks for coming!
This past weekend, the Don Bosco Prep Varsity Football team, parents, alumni and members of the Advancement Office made the trip to Washington D.C. to watch the Ironmen take on the Gonzaga High School Eagles on their home turf.

On September 7th, the Don Bosco Prep Advancement Office hosted a reception for parents and alumni at the Key Bridge Marriott in Arlington Virginia, five minutes from Gonzaga High School.  Over sixty members of the Don Bosco Prep community attended the event, enjoying great food, drink, and company leading up to game day.

Bob Zuppe ’91, of the Advancement Office, said a few words of thanks for all those who made the trip out, followed by Head Coach Mike Teel ’04, who also shared his thoughts.

The next day, the Ironmen took the field at 2:00 p.m. in the rain to take on Gonzaga High School. The poor weather did not impact the Don Bosco Prep fan section as it was packed with alumni and parents all rooting for our boys. Despite their solid effort, DBP lost the competition by a margin of 37-7.

On behalf of the Advancement Office, we would like to thank everyone for coming out to D.C. and supporting the Ironmen!
