Thanks for coming parents!
Last night, we welcomed all current Ironmen parents to campus for our second annual Back to School Night! It was a great experience for parents to get a feel for what their sons do on a day-to-day basis. At the start of the night all parents reported to their son’s homerooms for a “welcome” broadcast from Father James Heuser, SDB over the SmartBoards.
Afterwards, they followed their son’s schedules and went from classroom to classroom, hearing from each teacher about what will be expected of their son throughout the year.
As parents made their way from building to building, they were able to hear the amazing sounds of the DBP Jazz Band performing in the quadrangle under the Mary, Help of Christians statue. Parents also got the chance to meet the new Ironman Mascot who was walking around campus. Some parents even took selfies with him!
At the end of the night parents were invited to the Savio Hall Dining Gallery for some light refreshments. Thank you to all of the parents who attended Back to School Night this year. We hope it was a helpful and informative night for you all.
