ROBOTICS TEAM VICTORY
Congratulations to the Ironmen Robotics FIRST Tech Challenge team for being the Captain of the winning alliance at the 7th Annual FTC Northeast New Jersey Cliffhanger Meet held at Cliffside Park High School this weekend. Twenty-six teams from local high schools participated. Although the top three teams in the qualification rounds finished with identical 4-0-1 records, the Ironmen ended up as the third seed due to tiebreakers. However, in the elimination rounds, the Ironmen's alliance was able to defeat both the second and first seeds. The FIRST Tech Challenge is used each year as the main project in the senior-level Robotics Project Class. All members of the FTC Team are also members of the class. The Bosco team included Fr. Lou Konopelski, SDB, Vincent Massa, Teigue McCormack, Aidan Bele, Niall Moloney, Michael Kourkoulakos, and Robert Plastina.
