UPDATES FOR 2021-2022

As we begin our 107th school year, Don Bosco Prep continues to grow and meet the ever-changing needs and interests of our students. See below for our new and exciting offerings for the 2021-2022 academic year.

IN-HOUSE PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT

Professional Development for our teachers focused on inquiry-based learning, student-centered instruction and assessment.

NEW COURSE OFFERINGS

  • New course taught through a case-study model on the History of AmericanDemocracy
  • New course focusing on Digital Design and Illustration
  • Additional experiential programs and initiatives
  • New mandatory 9th grade SEL Course. (Social, Emotional, Learning) This course focuses on a variety of skills that help our freshmen to make a smooth transition and to help their growth as young men. Some topics included are: Study skills, coping skills, setting life goals, pursuing true happiness, and building social skills.

GROWING DUAL-CREDIT PROGRAM

New Don Bosco Prep courses approved for students to enroll and earn college credit through Ramapo College and the Middle College Program at Fairleigh Dickinson University.  Currently 8 courses offered.

ADDITIONAL ADVANCED PLACEMENT COURSES

Now offering 16 AP courses

INCREASING SERVICE OPPORTUNITIES

Youth Ministry offers additional opportunities for service on-campus, off-campus, and virtually.
