Welcome to Don Bosco Prep High School!

“Education is a matter of the heart!”

This is one of many St. John Bosco sayings that helped shape the first oratory.  St. John Bosco believed in meeting young men where they were as part of their development.  That same Salesian approach comes to life each day on the 37 acres of Don Bosco Prep.

I am a proud alumnus from the class of 1988 but my family legacy goes much deeper.  My dad, Edward, graduated in 1967 and began bringing me to campus when I was about five years old.  So for nearly fifty years, I have walked this campus consuming all the spirituality the Salesains have to offer.  My brother, Bobby, graduated in 1993 and my son, Jason, graduated in 2019.  As my mother has preached for many years that the Azzolino’s bleed maroon.  So I had the honor of experiencing Don Bosco Prep from all angles.

As President of this incredible institution, it is my responsibility and passion to ensure our young men experience all that they can in their most formidable years.  Working directly with the Salesian Community who live on campus and the Academic Administration, we create a safe and enjoyable environment for our young men and their families.

I encourage all families to come visit with us as they journey with their sons through the high school admissions process.  Our facilities speak for themselves.  The campus is uniquely suited for our boys to experience the four pillars of the oratory: Home, School, Church, and Playground. 

Our academic rigor is always evolving because part of our mission is to prepare these young men for college and beyond.  At the end of a young man’s four years at Bosco, he will be able to firmly shake a hand, look a person in the eye, and articulate his thoughts.  As one fellow alumnus proclaimed:

“There is no better place to learn how to be a man than Don Bosco Prep.”
