AUDITIONS FOR NEWSIES
Cast Auditions for the Spring Musical NEWSIES are being held on Wednesday, December 18, 5:30pm to 9:30pm in DeSales Hall Auditorium. This musical is based on the real-life Newsboy Strike of 1899 in turn-of-the century New York City. It tells the story of Jack Kelly and his charismatic band of teenaged "newsies". When the titans of the publishing industry raise newspaper prices at the newsboys' expense, Jack and his fellow newsies rally together to fight for what is right. You will be sent a confirmation email with further instructions. ALL STUDENTS (Freshman to Senior) are welcome to audition.
Any student interested in working behind the scenes (stage management, lights, sound, set, props, special effects, etc.) are encouraged to join the tech crew meeting on Thursday, December 19, 5:30pm-6:00pm in the Auditorium.

Callbacks are Thursday, December 19, 5:30pm-9:00pm. The callback list will be sent out via email after auditions. Anyone invited to callbacks will be expected to stay the whole time.
