This week, 30 students from DBP’s DECA team attended the New Jersey DECA State Career Development Conference in Atlantic City, NJ. Don Bosco Prep students competed against hundreds of other high school students from over 80 New Jersey high schools. They gave presentations in a variety of business areas and participated in role plays with industry professionals.
As a school, Don Bosco Prep was recognized for achieving Thrive Level in DECA’s Membership Campaign for an increase in program membership. DBP DECA was also recognized for our participation in the Help2Heal Program that helps build resilience in children, strengthen families, and empower communities to grow from loss and adversity. Many of our students won individual awards in their competitions and six students qualified to attend DECA International Career Development Conference (ICDC) in Nashville, TN in April.
