for those eager to be extra prepared.
HSPT Prep Program
OPEN TO BOYS IN THE CLASS OF 2029/ RISING 8TH GRADE STUDENTS CURRENTLY ATTENDING PUBLIC, PRIVATE, OR PAROCHIAL SCHOOLS.
The 8th Grade HSPT Prep Program focuses on the academic and social skills necessary for students entering 8th grade in September 2025 as well as prepares students for the HSPT Entrance Exam administered on November 7th, 2025.
This program will prepare students for any standardized testing that will be part of the Catholic High School application.

9th Grade Prep Program
Open to all incoming Don Bosco Prep freshmen.
The 9th Grade Prep Program is the ideal way for incoming students to become acclimated to Don Bosco Prep. It assures a smooth transition from 8th grade to freshman year as an Ironman.
Classes are taught by current Don Bosco Prep teachers and focus on:
- Introduction to High School Math and English
- Effective organizational and study skills as well as note-taking techniques
- Completion of Summer Assignments
- Early interaction with our Teaching staff
- Introduction to our National Honor Society Peer tutoring program
- Introduction to our supportive staff
When: summer 2025 dates
SESSION 1 July 7-10, July 14-17
SESSION 2 July 21-24, July 28-31
Time: 8:00-12:00 each day
Program Tuition: $500 per session, per student

8th Grade HSPT Program
Open to rising 8th grade students currently attending public, private or parochial schools.

Summer Theater Camp
Open to 7th – 11th Graders
Workshop with Professional Theater Artists:
Get ready for a week of fun and creativity at DBP. Through a week of rehearsals and workshops with guest artists, students will work on The Brothers Grimm Spectaculathon! This one-act whirlwind of fairy tales comes to life with humor and heart, culminating in a magical Friday night outdoor performance “under the stars” in the campus quad.
